Portland Holdings Inc. owns a number of properties across the Caribbean. Among, these properties include those that house hospitality operations such as The Trident Hotel & Villa, as well as Reggae Beach and the Blue Lagoon (under development).
Trident Villas & Hotel Jamaica
Nestled on 14-acres between tall, blue mountains and a plain-fringed sapphire sea, Trident Villas & Hotel in Jamaica are surrounded by majestic waterfalls, timeless rivers, a bottomless blue lagoon and the unique charm of a tropical Victorian town. Trident is currently under renovation with plans to reopen in December 2007.
Reggae Beach
In March 2005, Portland Holdings Inc. acquired a 250-acre track of land – known as Reggae Beach near Prospect Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, from real estate developer, Robert Cartade. Plans are under way to develop the land for tourism purposes.
